Finding out what specifically a committee did not like?

I'm fairly positive the answer is going to be a short and not-so-sweet "no", but......
Is there any anecdotal evidence that if you ask in a tactful manner (and make clear you will not try to appeal the decision/take it to court blah blah) that a school will explain why your application did not warrant admittance?
When you look at LSN and see everyone in your area green and you get dinged it makes you wonder. Especially when you've been accepted elsewhere so you are fairly confident there wasn't anything glaringly wrong with your app.
