Top Law Schools

Has anyone else had this experience? It is somewhat awkward even horrible. My best reaction, I think was to proceed to look intensely at each other person in the room, while aware the parent was still glaring at me, so as to seem like I was sizing everybody up or something, like a serious law student, instead of hoping to introduce myself sexually to said daughter at some point during 1L. What other coping strategies have people found?

I'm not sure why this is a problem. Isn't checking out hot girls (or guys. Come on, ladies) expected? I mean, it's nice to be tasteful about it, but it's the way life works, right? Otherwise how would we recognize anyone?

Did you break out an air horn and start howling?

Idk, just stay away from girls that bring their parents and/or boyfriends to ASDs?

I find it helpful not to stare intensely at people, sexually or not, when things are awkward.

haha I agree, maybe not the best wording. all fair points so far... this is definitely less creepy or disgusting than I may have made it seem... i am just looking to see if anyone else has shared in this unique experience.

Only option is to start checking out the parents too. If you make them uncomfortable enough, they'll stop glaring at you.

You did nothing wrong, just ignore the parents and more casually keep checking out at your leisure. Later when you talk to said girl, joke about how her parents kept staring at you and they were creeping you out.

As a general rule, I think it's a bad idea to tell a girl that her parents creep you out.
