ask adcomm to reconsider $$?

I was almost all set on sending my seat deposit to OSU (where I received an email stating that I would be getting no $$ for the time being) before I went onto LSN and saw that other users with my stats (163,3.1) and even slightly lower, were given $$. I applied in late oct and was accepted december, before any of the scholly info even came out. Is it a bad idea to email the adcomms and ask them to reconsider my lack of scholarship?

It's a bit late in the game, but if you make a polite and compelling argument, it wouldn't hurt and might work.
