Transferring to University of Texas

I had read in another thread that they only accept in-state transfers. Does anyone know if this is true?

If that were the case, I am assuming the majority of their transfers are from University of Houston, SMU, and Baylor and one would not be competing with students attending other schools in the T1?

I think you might be referring to one of my posts about Texas. If you look at the transferapps website, the school is VERY in-state school or resident biased when it comes to transferring and that, coupled w/ their already difficult requirements and low transfer numbers suggests that this school is probably an auto-reject for many transfers across the country. This is just IMO though.
