Acceptance/Rejections

Do rejections generally come before the acceptances?

I haven't been accepted anywhere after I received a rejection letter. Neither vice versa. My gut feeling tells me that they are mutually exclusive. HTH

does the longer it takes for a decision the greater chance of an acceptance?

Each office is different.

Usually the longer you wait the more borderline you are. That can mean they are trying to fit you into the class, or it can mean they don't really want to but are keeping you around because they need to.

Sent in a ED form, got rejected one day before they got it, then they called him to change to an acceptance.
