Top Law Schools

I'm applying to all the t14s+UCLA next year (NYU being the dream). My current gpa is 3.57 and I'm planning to take the LSAT in October. My question is - would it be worth applying to the schools in December 2010 rather than October, as the December application will hopefully have a slightly higher GPA (3.6) than the one I'd be using for Oct? I want to apply ED for NYU, but obviously that would mean applying in Oct with the 3.57.

I'm currently doing light LSAT practise, and am enrolling in a Princeton Review crash course in the summer.

Any tips would be much appreciated.

Apply as early as possible. I wish I could go back in time and tell myself how important this really is. Apply the day applications go up if you can. The difference between 3.57 and 3.6 isn't big enough to risk applying late. Plus there's the likely possibility that some schools won't even get to your application before your new grades come out.
