Top Law Schools

Subject says it all. Anyone know? I seem to look on LSN and everyone who gets in the same schools I apply to (with lower numbers than myself) label themselves as a URM or NTA. Anyone have any idea? I'm just curious really....

neither...it's just a soft if you can work it well into your diversity statement. otherwise, it has no effect.

Mmm...I think it is a fair question. A school that purports to be progressive with no queer presence is likely to raise some eyebrows, so I do think schools actively pursue LGBT candidates just like they pursue other minority candidates because they want to have diversity in their student body.

they are both civil rights issues - in the past the gay presence has been traditionally underrepresented in classrooms because no one would speak up about it. being openly gay and speaking about topics through that lens could be an asset to an entire class.

both diversify the student body. makes sense to me.
