How does LSAC/law schools view international students? Are they viewed in the same way as URM or does being an international student have no effect in the application process? Also is it better to be a certain type of international student or are all internationals treated equally?

URM--definetely no!
I applied this cycle, and so far it looks like there could be only a slight advantage in some "diversity loving" schools like Penn.
One effect of being international is that the LSAC probably won't caclulate your UGPA (as in my case), so you may end up with only one "number" in your LSDAS report.

Penn loves diversity? Somebody should go tell them real quick... Well it's too late anyway.

Well, I've heard some rumors of that kind. And I mean--a really slight advantage

I am a Belgian by nationality, and have lived in 7 countries so far, but my best language is still English since I've been going to predominantly international schools since birth. I'm finishing up my freshman year in my ''decent'' small university based in Florida. Does any of this have any factor at all when LSAC and law schools look at my transcripts?

If you get a US UG degree, then what could be the difference? They don't look at your high school credentials:) You can write a good diversity statement, that's it.
