Top Law Schools

I took the LSAT back in 2006, choked, and then decided to wait on the law school thing..

I've worked 3+ years at a Fortunte 500 company which is where I currently reside. Looking to go back to get a Masters in Economics/Finance, but the law school thing is still an option. However, it wouldn't be until after grad school.

Prior to taking the test, I was testing in the low 160's. I felt rather rushed and I didn't take the Kaplan course. So, I feel it's reasonable to assume that I can hit anywhere from 160-165 with a good amount of studying plus the possibility of a course.

I believe that 163-164 might get me into IU-Bloomington.. I have a low gpa-3.15.

Do guys think a Masters and some quality work expeirence will help at all, or is my entire app dependent on the LSAT? Like I said, I think it's reasonable to assume that I can hit the right lsat score for IU-Bloomington, but if not is there any hope?

check out the graphs on LSN. A 164 will prob get you in if you apply early enf. with a 163 you are prob WL for sure. It sucks but it is true.

I realize you said that you were practice testing in the low 160s prior to your actual test day, but I don't see why you should already be limiting yourself to the 160-165 range. Now that you already have your first LSAT test experience under your belt, and you are looking at having ample time to prepare before your next test, I don't see why you shouldn't be shooting for higher. Believe in yourself. Clear eyes, full hearts, can't lose.
