Yeah, that site sucks. I do, however, like what the people at admissionsdean.com have put together. They provide the last three US News ranking spots along with an average for each school. It helps put the rankings in perspective. Colorado, for example, dropped from 32 to 45 in one year. WTF? Knowing that Colorado is really a 36-ish school rather than a 45 is useful to a prospective applicant.

the more I see on forums like these, the more terrified I am of being in the law student "community". And when I think that these guys are the ones who probably aced the LSAT, but who have absolutely no couth, makes me wonder what kind of PERSON law schools really want. They WANT the quickwitted, clever assholes, of course. major jerks= better lawyers.

Autoadmit is certainly an interesting corner of the internet. I think people here take it a wee bit too seriously.

Same here. During my law school tour at my top choice, I saw a group of Persian/Armenian guidos in polo shirts ranting loudly in the middle of the hallway about blowjobs. I was like... I can't believe adcoms couldn't screen their douchebaggotry. I really hope I'm not stuck in any classrooms with those dbags.

What? What difference does their ancestry make? I can understand your disgust about their behavior, I know what you are getting at and I agree that it is distasteful, but Persians or Armenians? I'm not sure how you came to that particular, and very specific, conclusion. Those two groups are not interchangeable, it would be like saying a group of obnoxious people were French/Polish. Also, I think that 'guido' might be a term that is reserved for trashy Italian-Americans (a la Jersey Shore types), thus adding a third ethnicity. Deriding bad behavior is one thing, but unnecessarily attaching an ethnic background to the offenders (especially if you can't differentiate between them) is also in poor taste.
