Higher end T2 >>>>>> Fordham, what does it take?

I am really excited about the school I will be attending next year and have no problem with getting a degree there and working in the region, but I was wondering what would it take to transfer to Fordham from there? I know most people say Top 5% for t-14, so is it top 10% for a school like Fordham?

I won't be the first one to say this, but
never go to a law school with an intent to transfer! Because the odds are definitely against you.

Thats specifically why I said I like the school I am attending and am perfectly fine with working in the region. I am not going with intentions of transferring, I m merely seeing what options there are.

Very hard to say. It depends on how full the entering class is, how many other transfer applicants there are, and specifically, how many people from your school try to transfer to Fordham. It can be a lot easier to transfer from a school that is out of the area than from, say, BLS. Top 10% should make you a really strong candidate, though. Be optimistic, but realistic as well; even with a semester of grades under our belts, it's impossible for any of us to say where we'll finish at the end of the year.

Transferring to Fordham means losing any scholarship you have at the tier 2 school, to move up what, like 20ish spots in the ranking? Is that really worth 100k+ of extra debt to you? If you are talking about a higher end tier 2 in New York, it seems insane to me to think you will have that much better job prospects at Fordham then at the top 5-10% of your class at your tier 2.
