Top Law Schools

One of the schools that admitted me has an offer acceptance deadline of April 1st, but I'm still waiting to hear back from several schools. I know others are in this situation.
a) Any general thoughts on asking for an extension? I figure it can't hurt, and if they say no, I'm pretty much okay with withdrawing anyway.
b) Any sample extension requests anyone could PM me?

I asked for an extension on a April 1st deadline and had it extended to April 15th. I simply told them I hadn't heard back from all the schools yet and wanted more time to make a decision. They said they understood and it wouldn't be a problem.

I asked for an extension and they sent me a detailed e-mail telling me that the deadline was April 1st and the fee was non-refundable. Needless to say, I already paid.
