Hi,

Just wondering the proper protocol for responding to calls/emails from student ambassadors or school representatives at a school you've decided to withdraw from? I am submitting my withdrawal now, but should I send a response thanking them for their congratulations and willingness to help?

This may be silly, but I feel that I would be annoyed if I'd volunteered as a student or was working as an administrator to be helpful to prospectives and never received a response. Or is that just the standard?

I think it would be a nice gesture if they spent a lot of time communicating with you and helping out. I think a lot of them would appreciate it. In fact, I am going to send an email to a couple of people right now.
