I will be graduating the dec. I plan on starting law school in the fall of '11. If i get my transcripts to LSAC soon, does that lock in my gpa or will they require a final transcript after this semester to adjust my gpa?

you'll need to get your final transcript. check out the website for the school you are applying to- they'll tell you exactly what they expect.

but as far as applying to schools, the gpa that lsac reports will be certified before my graduation date. let me rephrase...if sent lsac my transcripts now and apply early this fall, will i be able to use my current gpa or one from after this semester....upper level finance classes are harder to ace than previous courses. I have about a 3.6 and would obviously rather apply with that than a lower gpa.

whenever you apply they will want your most recent transcript.
