Any point this late?

I was thinking about submitting some apps before the deadlines come up at GW (3/31) and Iowa (4/1)...but is there a point of this or am I just throwing my money away? Forget my stats, I just want to know if its worth spending the cash or if there is no point this late in the cycle as many schools have their class sizes pretty much lined up?

Honestly, it would probably depend on your stats, personal statements, letters of recommendation, etc. I wouldn't say it is a waste unless you are a reach for them. Then, it may be more difficult. You will have to work harder to persuade them. Otherwise, you might apply at some of the lower ranked schools, e.g. a Penn State or another state school. I'm sure if your numbers are solid, someone will accept you. Therefore, no, it is not a complete waste. It just depends on your goals/ambitions/purpose for going to law school (especially since you are applying late). Is it a whim or a true matter of circumstance?

If you're URM, send the apps. If you aren't you probably wouldn't have gotten in with your numbers in the first place, and certainly won't now.

I think it depends on the school and your stats. Several schools have extended their deadline, and I am still getting waivers from anything from T50 to T4 with promise of scholarships.
