Be sure to find a European wheel, the odds are better.daesonesb wrote:Take all of the loans you get from the Department of Education, withdraw them when they find their way into your bank account. Go to Las Vegas, and put them all on red. If it lands, your first year is a full ride. Yahtzee!

If you want a real plan, put it all on green. You can take pay your 2L and 3L plus a 10 year vacation. Thank me later!holydonkey wrote:That's a horrible plan. You should pick black.
Indeed!r6_philly wrote:Be sure to find a European wheel, the odds are better.daesonesb wrote:Take all of the loans you get from the Department of Education, withdraw them when they find their way into your bank account. how does this not matter? One is going to double your money, the other is gonna put you into some deep shit. You better pick the right one.daesonesb wrote:Indeed!r6_philly wrote:Be sure to find a European wheel, the odds are better.daesonesb wrote:Take all of the loans you get from the Department of Education, withdraw them when they find their way into your bank account. It appears I've gaffed and posted a picture of an American wheel, but you're right, the odds of red on a European wheel are marginally better.

I shouldn't think this would matter.
Yes, but the color you pick is immaterial. Red or Black, your chances of winning are 18/38 in American roulette, 18/37 in European Roulette.adameus wrote:how does this not matter? Not when I am throwingD-hops wrote:Put it on the pass line. Better odds.
Actually, If you bet red on a Euro wheel, your odds are marginally better (1.352% house edge vs. approx 1.4% house edge in craps).D-hops wrote:Put it on the pass line. Better odds.
You gotta take the odds along with that pass line bet. It reduces the house edge even further since the odds bet actually has no house advantage (only place in a casino where the payout is 100% equal to the odds of it happening). With 2X odds the combined house advantage is 0.606%. With 3X odds it drops to 0.417%.daesonesb wrote:Actually, If you bet red on a Euro wheel, your odds are marginally better (1.352% house edge vs. approx 1.4% house edge in craps).D-hops wrote:Put it on the pass line. Not gonna argue with the wheels in Vegas though.

Stay away from the middle of the table though.... that's where the sucker bets are.
I will admit that I didn't know that. I've never played pai gow because I learned at a young age that if you don't REALLY understand all the rules to a game, you don't play it for moneyr6_philly wrote:Sangiovese wrote:

Actually that is not true. In PaiGow poker if you bank you get the house's odds on the hands you bank. So your odds are better than the house because you win copy hands. However you have to pay 5% commission on the winnings. But If we are talking about odds only then PaiGow is great. Tiles too.
