Trying to narrow my school list

I want to practice in Boston. I have been WLed at BC, so this is assuming that I don't get in there. Northeastern's only requirement for scholarship renewal is that I maintain "good academic standing".
Tuition is basically the same at ~ 39.5k.

Does anyone think that I would be able to successfully negotiate with Northeastern in light of the 35k from Suffolk?

Doesn't hurt to ask. The worst that can happen is they don't increase their offer.

I always thought Suffolk was a T3...
At any rate, Northeastern is borderline T1/T2, Suffolk border line T4/T3. Huge difference, but not to the extent where scholarship leverage would be deemed impossible. I would definitely let them know of your options and explain that although NE offers a great PI program, you are debt averse and recognize the salaries of PI work concern you to the extent that minimal debt is favorable.
Northeastern <3 Public Interest.

Chances are slim to none. This is a dilemma that people face every year. $8.5K traditionally is the highest amount NUSL gives out except for the 4 full ride Public Interest Law Scholarships. It certainly won't hurt you to ask, but just be realistic about it.

So, the cost of attendance is equal after your scholarships are applied? If so, I'd say Northeastern. The co-op program there gets you in front fo a lot of prospective employers.

Where are you getting that from? The tuition and living expenses are the same to start. Once the scholarships are applied Suffolk is about $26,500 cheaper per year assuming he keeps the scholarship. The question is whether or not the difference between Northeastern at 90th (with co-op) and Suffolk at T4 justifies the difference in COA.

Isn't Suffolk held in pretty high regard (except for BC/BU/Harvard) in Mass. in spite of its ranking?

I have no idea what COA is. OP said "tuition is roughly the same ~ 39.5k"
I wasn't sure what he or she meant.

Not really. Northeastern >>> Suffolk... but in this case, if Suffolk is a lot cheaper, then that.

The OP must've meant to start, without scholarships unless Suffolk's tuition is 75k. Didn't mean to sound harsh though.
COA= total cost of attendance
