Quick question - I applied to schools about two 1/2 months ago, and haven't heard from most of my target/reach schools yet. I'd like to tell them that I'm still very interested, etc., but I wonder if it's better just to give them a quick call or wait to send a LOCI? Anybody have experience/success with the former?

I don't know anything about this topic, but I've sent two LOCI's in so far. I never thought about calling, because I imagine that an LOCI can be added to your application file while a call is sort of immaterial.

Just call and politely ask what the status of your application is, and if there is any more information that you could provide that the admission committee requires, or would help them reach a decision...
