Applied this cycle (2010), but now I need to wait until 2011

I applied for this term, Fall 2010, but for personal reasons I need to wait until 2011. I want to re apply to some schools that I didn't get into, after I retake the LSAT. My questions is, do I need to get a whole new set of LOR's before re-applying? Also, should I write an entire new PS or just edit/add to my old one? Thanks for the help.

I've seen several situations like this on this board. Your LORs are fine and can be reused. Keep your PS too, but don't be afraid to brush it up over the summer so it's the best it can be for the next cycle.

Does the fact that you applied before help or hurt your chances? It obviously effects them one way or the other or schools wouldn't ask the question on the application.
