Rescind Acceptance?

If I've already been
accepted to a law school for Fall 2010 and stated my intent to enroll, can they rescind my acceptance if my GPA falls this semester? More specifically, I have a low grade in one class. It won't affect my cumulative GPA significantly but it will hurt this semester's GPA. How do schools handle this when they receive your final transcropt? Thanks!

You'll be fine as long as you graduate.

If your GPA falls below their median they may be concerned. Otherwise they won't care if it is just one class.

Most schools have official conditions to their offer I think . . . Berkeley mentions theirs in the acceptance packet. More or less, as long as you graduate you're fine. If they admitted you for your high GPA and you let it tank, they might be irritated, but that's not grounds to rescind your acceptance as long as you still get awarded the degree.

Your LSDAS GPA is the one the school has to report, so if your GPA falls don't update LSDAS and everyone will be happy.
