So I was confirming FASFA codes on their website and then I saw this:

University of Florida
Graduation Rate: 82%
Retention Rate: 95%
Transfer Rate: 6%

INDIANA UNIVERSITY-BLOOMINGTON
FRANKLIN HALL 208 FIN AID OFFICE
BLOOMINGTON
Federal School Code: 001809
Graduation Rate: 73%
Retention Rate: 90%
Transfer Rate: 0%

etc

So. If we have a 95% retention rate but only 82% graduate... doesn't that mean 13% of students failed ? Everyone on here says it is not really possible to fail out of law school because of the curve, seems the numbers say otherwise. Thoughts, it there something I'm missing?

You're not accounting for people who don't like law school/aren't succeeding and choose to drop out.

This is definitely not true for TTTs that fail out a substantial portion of their classes just to keep their bar passage rate high enough for ABA accreditation.
