Simple logic. Assuming, arguendo, that UVA is not in decline, it will be in the T6 this cycle since:
2. Berkeley is in decline

3. Michigan is in decline
http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... =4&t=67037
http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... 1&t=110096
4. Chicago is in decline
http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... 1&t=108556
5. Duke is in decline

Whoa there! That's quite a big assumption. UVA is obviously in decline.

Also, NYU is in decline.

Indiana seems to be on the rise after it jumped 13 spots last year. Obviously it will jump another 13 spots this year into the T10.

Your logic is flawed until you find a "Penn is in decline" thread.

Well Penn dropped from first in firm placement to something like eighth according to the nlj charts.

This is one of the most outrageous non-trolling (maybe) threads I've ever read on TLS. We're talking about law schools like they are the Roman empire in decline. Texas and UCLA have been remarkably consistent over the past decade.

http://www.concurringopinions.com/archi ... ing_1.html

If a school loses one spot or gains one, that isn't a sign that they'll keep losing/gaining a spot every year thereafter. Especially ITE, it hard to say what will happen.

Just a quick point: ITE will have almost no impact on law school rankings, with the exception of the overhead/student number.

Sarcasm recognition fail, FTL.

People have virtually just said every school in the T14 is in decline, while Indiana and Cooley will break the top ten. Didn't catch the sarcasm?

Yale has done very poorly in NLJ250 and Vault 100 hiring for the past few years, no matter their reputation, they are clearly in decline as well.

Admissions officers from Duke, Northwestern, Cornell, and GULC have just purchased La-Z-Boys. They are clearly on the recline.
