What does it mean by Application Complete/Awaiting Committe?

I was just reviewing some of my statuses online. The applicant online status guide has me listed as:
Current Status: Application Complete /Awaiting Committee
Decision Status: Decision made; letter is in the mail.
Does anyone have any idea what this may lead to? If I have to make a decision then it wouldn't be a straight denial, or would it?

I understand that, the main thing I was asking was about the phrase "Awaiting Committee."

It's currently being reviewed. Could have an answer within a day if you have auto-admit numbers, if not you could be waiting 4-6 more weeks.
Good Luck

its probably just bad programming that shows both at once. if it says decision reached, than that is probably what you should go by unless the law school messed up, accepted everyone that applied and had to put a hold on all the decision letters or something odd like that.

Some schools keep their online status checkers accurate in near real-time. Others seem to be lacking in the technology department. If it says the letter is in the mail, I would assume that it is in fact on its way and the prior status of in review as a technical or operator error.

Yes. Read the first reply and that is your answer. Your decision letter is in the mail. There is no way of knowing what the decision is until you open the letter.

It means a decision has been reached and instead of showing you the committee decision online, it is in the mail. This is taken directly from one of my online status checkers:
Current Status: Your application is complete.
Current Status Date: 1/12/2010
Decision Status: A decision has been rendered.
Decision Status Date: 3/1/2010
Same concept. So everyone else's answer was helpful.
