Georgetown

I was not planning on applying to law schools this year, but this weekend I decided that I should apply to a few, just to give me the option of going to law school in the fall of 2010 if I change my mind.

a) Can I apply to both Georgetown part-time and full-time? Do I do it on the same application? The applications seems to say that I can do that, but I had thought that wouldn't be allowed to for some reason.

b) Let's say I apply to a few places and don't get in, because it's so late in the cycle. Will these rejections hurt me if I apply again next year? Or will they consider me to have a clean slate basically? The only thing that would prevent me from applying to a couple places now (and risking rejection) would be the knowledge that doing so could mean my applications will look less competitive next year.

a) the application is right. PT and FT can be applied to at once.

b) no, it shouldnt hurt in most circumstances.

I don't think it will hurt you anywhere, unless you have absolutely nothing new to add to your résumé. In that case, I suspect it would raise eyebrows.
