I need some last minute advice (ED at Gtown and UVA)

So my stats are at 3.42/168 URM (if you consider all hispanics URMs)

Top apps are at Penn, NW, UVA, Gtown

I was looking around lawschoolnumbers.com and it seems I have virtually no chance at any of these schools, especially this late in the cycle. I also applied to UCLA, USC, BU, Fordham, and BC, all of which I would like to go to and I'll take my chances at.

The BIG QUESTION: Do I have a shot at Gtown or UVA without applying ED? Do I have a shot with ED?
Is it worth forgetting about every other application I sent for admission to one of these two schools?
I am especially interested in National Security, which Gtown has a concentration in (I think) but I have never seen or visited any of these schools and I dont want to shoot myself in the foot by getting there and hating my life. That being said, I'm pretty easy to adapt to places so long as its not very rural.

Any thoughts? I really dont know where I want to practice and live afterwards, but its either SF, Boston, NY, or Miami.

Thanks A LOT for the help guys. The apps are due tomorrow.

Tomorrow is UVA's ED deadline. Think about it.

It would help if you tell us what kind of Hispanic you are. Not all get the same URM boost.

This is a pretty important "if."

Gtown is supposedly "easier" to get into than UVA, if you really can't decide.

But it's ED so if you really want to go to UVA, you should apply there.

You're not a URM.

Yeah, no shot any of your 4 T14's, even with ED.

Really?

Really. Sorry :(

One of BU or BC might accept you. None of the others will (Fordham because they love early apps and appear to have given away all of their slots already; otherwise you'd get in). Your chances would go up immensely if you applied next cycle.

If you wanted to ED to one or the other I would choose Gtown, simply because it's your best bet. Based on your UGPA/LSAT according to LSP you go from "Consider" to "Strong Consider" if you ED at GULC, but there is no change in your chances by applying ED to UVA FWIW.

Also, I'm not sure I buy this whole "only some hispanics are URM" thing...the truth is URM admissions are hard to predict, so no one can really give you a definite answer. I will say this, based on personal experience and those of some friends [whom are hispanic but not Mex/PR], there does appear to be some kind of "boost." Many of them got into schools that most would consider reaches. However it's more like a ~3.6/~168 getting admitted to T8-T14.

I'll drag out the age-old credited response: Do you need to apply this cycle? Wait a year, apply early next cycle, maybe even retake the LSAT if you're feeling motivated. Even if you don't retake the LSAT, waiting and applying early could help quite a bit.
