NYU late app

I just got a 172 on the Feb. LSAT with a 3.52 LSDAS GPA. I know I'm below median GPA and their site says they don't take Feb. LSATs, but if I called the admissions office, is there ANY chance they'd even let me submit a late app? Anyone have any experience with this? I would certainly send them a letter promising to enroll if admitted.
Edit: I know I'm a long shot for NYU RD even if I weren't late, but what about ED next cycle?
