So, I got waitlisted to my top school. I was "under review" for 3.5 months, and took a visit and sent a LOCI. What can I do to get off the waitlist? If I email or call what exactly should I say? Thanks so much!

I think most sucess stories involve persistence. I think you can do a few LOCI, if you'd like. But probably the smartest thing is to make contact with the person reviewing your file. Ask them what materials might be helpful, if you can interview, etc. Then stay in touch, occasionally reach out to remind them you still exist.

thanks so much! do you recommend calling and seeing who is reviewing your file, or just email the dean of admissions?

A few LOCIs? I think anymore that two is kind of pushing it.

Does this help? Did you meet anyone involved in admission, or did you just take a tour with a student?

i had a tour with a student, and met someone in admissions. a week later, i was put on waitlist. i am over 50% in GPA, and like at 25% for LSAT, so i definitely wasn't an autoadmit. i think going to visit helped.
