Prospective student law school interviews

Hi,
I am a Columbia alumna and they email me about law school admissions interviews being held on campus from time to time. (Example: "Georgetown law school admissions reps will be on campus... if you'd like, sign up for a short time block to meet with them for an interview.")
Do you know if it matters if you attend these or not? In your experience can it help or does everything hinge on the physical app?
