Is it too late to apply?

166 3.87 here. I've gotten responses from about half of my schools--looks like I struck out on all my reaches, straight WL's at all of them. Still no word from Cornell (hoping). But now I'm looking at schools in the 20-30 range, and I'm realizing I have few options, the only two I've got are BU and GWU.
I want to apply to Emory and WM, but is there any point in doing it at this point?

William and Mary has pushed people with worse numbers back until March, so I would say go for it. At the very least you'll get lumped into that group.

Hope you do better then that. Those numbers are decent. Try anally stimulate your WL with finger.

I am wondering this too. After a pretty surprising rejection from UIUC (170+ with a mid-3s gpa), I am considering applying to ND. I don't want to waste the $72 if my only chance is the wait-list. Their deadline is 3/15, but I still worry that I've missed the boat on this one.
I've already tried soliciting a merit fee-waiver from them, but I was shot down.

Try Washington and Lee. They are giving big bucks to people with our numbers (I have no idea when the app deadline is/was.)

Our #'s are somewhat close and I applied with a 168/4.0 last cycle to a number of schools b/w 2/15 and 3/1. Do you have any WE? If you can schedule an interview, NU is known to be "unpredictable" with what would otherwise be a low T14 LSAT score where someone has a GPA exceeding the 75th.

My numbers are very similar to yours (GPA is just slightly lower) and I got in to Washington and Lee, William and Mary, Wake, and Emory. The first three all gave me very generous scholarships as well (haven't heard anything from Emory yet). Don't know how your tardiness will affect you, but I think you would at the least get in to all of those places.

How did applying that late affect your decisions? I'm really debating submitting ND, and possibly even Georgetown.

A lot of people who have been WLed at UVA just send in an ED agreement and actually get off the list pretty quickly. The form is here:

He already did ED

I would say definitely apply to W&M, they claim they don't really have rolling admissions so applying this late would probably not hurt you as much as it will at other schools.

Sign up for June 10 LSAT, and if you can get a 168 or better wait a year. You may even get pulled off a wait list in July after scores come out.
