Top Law Schools

So, I just took a look at an app I submitted a few days ago and I left out "the" before the school's name. I was in the midst of working on different drafts, making different changes here and there. The school hasn't processed my file yet by any means. What should I do to try to fix this? Ouch. I can't believe it.

I missed the indefinite article 'a' in my PS in about 7 apps. So far my returns are exactly what you would expect with my numbers. No one reads those things.

Unless you applied to Ohio State, you should be alright.

I wouldn't go that far. I would say that A) Most people will automatically read an article where one isn't because our brains fill in a ton of gaps when we read and nobody is going over these things with a fine toothed comb. B) Schools know you're human and make mistakes. A single typo isn't going to weigh heavily against the much more significant evidence of your academic record, LSAT, recommendations, etc...

I freaked out for weeks because I wrote "Hastings College of Law" instead of "Hastings College of the Law" in three different places. Then I got accepted. Moral of the story: No biggie.
