Building LSAT Median Take 2

Post by Badger » Mon Feb 08, 2010 4:10 pm

Can someone elaborate for me the process of "building up a median" and if there are any indications a school might be doing this before letting a person in. I haven't heard anything back from a school that I'm probably borderline in (at least I hope I am) and others have heard that applied much later. I'm wondering if this might be an indication of them "building the median" and maybe letting me in....or maybe its just wishful thinking on my part and they are just taking there time with my app. Let me know what you guys and gals think.

Schools want to establish the highest median LSAT/GPA they can while at the same time ensuring a high rate of matriculation. Check lawschoolnumbers.com for info on the schools to which you're applying. The graph function is helpful.
