Long story short, I'm writing a LOCI for a school that has not rendered a decision to let them know they are my absolute #1 choice, even if I only get PT. My younger sister just got into their UG, and is going there in the fall. Is it tacky to include this? I'm not sure if playing up the wanting to stay close with family card will look good, or contrived. What do you think?
wording: My younger sister was just admitted to X for undergraduate, and will now most likely be attending in the fall. The opportunity to stay close with her serves as just another excellent reason for why X Law is the perfect fit for me.
LOCI Q, sibling attending their UG in the fall, include? Forum

I would nix that sentence and just note that you have family in the near area...
they don't care about the connection to their undergrad program.
