the benefits of getting a couple points more from a 170 are pretty big, esp if you want HYS, CCN. try to figure out how many you got wrong for sure to give you a sense of what you will get. most people would say keep the score if you think you have a pretty good chance at improvement and didn't feel like you bombed it. i personally kept mine and got a higher score than i thought. but that is just me

I wouldn't cancel. Fortunately law school admission decisions are influenced solely by rankings and the schools need only to report the highest score.

I scored a 169 on my first try, I and don't feel great about today's test. I'm applying this cycle and have nothing to lose, so there's no way I'm going to cancel.

I'm in the same boat. But I've been admitted to some good schools already, and the others are going to be deciding based on my current score. LG was killer on this test, but who knows how I did on LR/RC. If you don't think you really bombed it, then don't cancel.
