3.7 / 139

2 years ago I took the LSAT on a whim - got a 139. Graduated with a BS 9 years ago with a 3.7 GPA. Any chance on getting in to local NY area schools > St. Johns, Hofstra, NY Law, Brooklyn? I know top schools are out like NYU, Columbia, Fordham. But honestly, I'm working a good full time job and don't seek a Columbia type of school...just one that won't be a long commute. Silly to some I'm sure.
9 years work experience has to count for something eh?

Also, if I did get in with those numbers, any kind of financial assistance in grants, scholarships you think?

In any case, I'm signed up for this June's LSAT...but I'd rather start the 2010 cycle if possible with the 3.7 / 139
Thanks all!

139 will not be taken seriously anywhere. Wait until you retake.

Outlook not so good.

LSAT + GPA matter, WE doesn't. I know it's not fair, but it's the way the game is played.
