Why not just call back? Tell them you got a missed call from this number.

2 can play at this game....call the number back from Roy's House of Beastiality and hang-up right when they answer. That way when they GooGle the number they will be completely thrown off. Or you could have just saved 15 minutes of your life and 30 seconds of mine by returning the call.

I received a phone call from a professor at DePaul notifying me of my acceptance, but I think he was under the impression I had already known about my acceptance (I didn't), so I don't think he was actually calling with the purpose of notification, just a congratulations, perhaps.

I think it is great when a school has someone actually call you, whether it be a dean or professor. I wish this was more common practice.

I actually received a phone call from the dean of the law schools for 2 low ranked T-1 schools. Otherwise, phone calls were typically received from Asst. Deans of Admission.
