Switching from RD to ED at UVA?

Since UVA has dropped a date deadline for their binding early-decision, I wanted to switch my status. How should I go about this? Just compose an e-mail to the ad comm stating my desire to change to ED? Or is there a more formal procedure?

There is a form on the law school website you fill out and sign. You can mail it or fax it to the school. Good Luck!

Correct, I would suggest emailing or calling beforehand if you mail out the form. Once they know of your intent, they'll hold off making a decision until they receive your ED.
