Pizza Delivery Guy Addendum?

I've added this addendum to my applications, haven't sent them yet, so I wanted to get one last opinion on if this is necessary:

Since graduating from _________ in May, I have begun working full time at the _____ Crust Pizzeria in _____, Massachusetts. Though my work as a delivery driver is not in the field I would have preferred, the legal one, it is full time employment during a very difficult time in the labor market, and I consider myself lucky to have it. I plan to continue working at the Upper Crust until my enrollment in law school this fall.

What do we think, necessary or not? The application clearly asks for an explanation of any gaps in your resume after school, but would just listing it on my resume be enough?

Are you serious?

You don't write addendums for legitimate work.

Also, who desires a career in the pizza delivery field?

Don't send an addendum telling them you work at Upper Crust Pizza. Don't put it on your resume. Just leave it off, they won't care.

I think what they mean by gaps is if you haven't done anything between your graduation and first job after that.

This seems like your apologizing to adcomms for delivering pizza's lol

Haha, I see you haven't looked for a job lately Desert Fox. No one desires a pizza delivery job.

And I AM apologizing for working at a pizza shop! It's a pretty shitty job!

We're expanding pretty quickly, but it will be a while before we make it out to Cali, sorry.

Thanks for the help.

Nobody in this economy is going to be judging you for not having a good job. Especially if you are a liberal arts major. He'll most of your competition for law school probably will be out of work.

But you don't put part time unskilled labor on your professional resume, and you don't need to send an addendum for not having a job after college during the worst recession since the 1930's.

Are u delivering Pizza to the poor or needy? Or perhaps you're delivering pizza to starving children in Haiti?

If not, i really don't see why you would like to submit that to law school.
