+1. Also, northwestern is one of the most expensive T14s beating out both CLS and NYU.MURPH wrote:Thank goodness for fee waivers.
Yeah, me too. I thought CLS was going to be the most expensive but nope. Also, Booboo it seems a few times now we've posted at odd times for us people...are you also abroad?booboo wrote:Seriously, I balked when I saw the cost. Hehe, since they pretty much make WE a requirement, they assume you got the dough!.
i see no sound reason why they'd want people to apply there considering all off campus interviews are closed. applying this late is bad enough, but they expect us to fly across the country for an interview? no thanks! 12 bucks gets me 2 meals.
Mine was also 3 hours away and I flew there to take the interview...man I hope they take that as dedication and admit me too!sumus romani wrote:i see no sound reason why they'd want people to apply there considering all off campus interviews are closed. applying this late is bad enough, but they expect us to fly across the country for an interview? no thanks! 12 bucks gets me 2 meals.
NW does indeed admit lots of people w/o interviews. My closest interview place was 3 hours away by car, and I decided not to interview (I applied in November), yet was accepted anyway. Now, to be sure, I met their admissions criteria to begin with. But it is not as though an interview is a necessary condition to admission. Also, if indeed their off campus sites are closed, then now you actually have an excuse for not interviewing.
One thing that I am not sure about whether not interviewing somehow might indirectly affect offers of merit aid.
Edit for typo
CLS is more than NU. Both in total cost of attendance and tuition(including mandatory fees).def2104 wrote:+1. Also, northwestern is one of the most expensive T14s beating out both CLS and NYU.MURPH wrote:Thank goodness for fee waivers.

NU makes you buy that computer for 3k? If so, then maybe, also, I hope that you don't have to buy one every year!def2104 wrote:From the website: NUJD Student BudgetDesert Fox wrote:CLS is more than NU.
