$792...I wasn't paying attention and it added up quickly!

Thanks, credit card!

Don't do this to yourself.

Everytime I get waitlisted or rejected somewhere, I imagine nearly 100 dollars more in my bank account. And it makes me sad.

I broke $1000.

I'd better make it into something I'll be pleased about or I don't know how I'll justify it to the parentage.

If I get into even one T10, it'd all be worth it. The rest of the money was for safeties and targets, which I also probably spent too much on.

Speaking of that, what have the chances been like in the past to make it in without interviewing. I applied too late, however I think I would really like Northwestern.

I spent $609

17 applications. Even with several fee waivers (I think 8 or 9), I spent over $750. I think I was overly cautious and applied to too many safeties.

$124. 2 apps. Not leaving town has its benefits.

I spent $170 or so over 5 apps. I had a pretty good mix of safeties and targets.

12 x 12 = 144 + 70 (I got 11 fee waivers, it was great) = $214.00 in total.

About $500. Only applied to targets and reaches - being an arrogant douche-bag has its benefits.

Last cycle I applied to 30 schools, about half on fee waivers, and spent around $1500 on apps.

I ended up going to a school that gave me a fee waiver, too. :?

I should have realized that I didn't need to apply early to my safety (it IS a safety after all) and could have waited for news from higher ranked schools.

I'm still waiting on news from my safety but I've gotten into Duke, NYU, and Columbia so I really could care less about it at this point... $100 down the drain

I spent just over a grand. I am satisfied, though, since i had no idea who would take a chance on a splitter like me. I'll be glad to have a lot of choices in a few months.

I don't even know how much I spent, but probably around $1000... (10 schools at full fee + $12 LSAC fee for each, and 5 fee waivers but still the $12 each. Stupid LSAC fee).

Wish I'd found TLS BEFORE applying so I could have learned that you can ask schools for fee waivers. At least then the TLS-induced-neuroses I've acquired since then would have been offset by $500 or so in savings.

Over $1000 wasted just to get into my early decision school and not hear back from any of my reaches. Not one of my smarter life decisions.

Really, you didn't find TLS before you applied. You are lucky. I was so mellow before I found TLS.

Don't worry, I've been un-mellow since October 14 or so. I found TLS the DAY after I sent in my last app/ paid my last $90ish/ finally had some free time.

I would have gladly taken the insane-forum-refreshing obsession if I'd gotten to save some money. Too bad all I ended up with was the insane-forum-refreshing obsession. The worst part is that I'm abroad so NO ONE (well, except you, apparently) is posting during my waking hours... but I'm still refreshing insanely.

I think I topped $600 including LSAT/LSAC/App Fees/1 LSAT study book. Without fee waivers I would have topped $1200.
