When is the deadline for submitting the FAFSA? I'm an 0L applying to mostly Florida schools, and I couldn't find any deadlines or anything. Anyone know?

The FAFSA is usually submitted after you've gotten into a school (Feb. - March period) but you can do it at anytime. Its actually very simple to just go to the Fed. Gov's website and fill it out, get yourself a PIN to sign it, and submit... especially as you don't need your parent's information for the FAFSA.

I think it's the sooner the better. Seems most schools have priority deadlines around March 1. It usually says the specific date in the financial aid section of the schools website.

Vandy's priority financial aid deadline is Feb. 15, which totally snuck up on me. FAFSA and need access form required. Eek!

What if you don't know where you're going yet?

Submit it with the most expensive school you got into? The one you are most likely to attend?

You can send it to multiple schools, even one's you have not yet been accepted to.

These forms are quite the headache.

Make sure to fill it out ASAP, last year I didn't fill it out by the priority deadline at my UG (I was going to graduate, but decided not to) and I lost several thousand in grants.
