Have you ever heard of anyone not having to take the LSAT?

I was recently having a discussion with some friends (one international, one in grad school) who insisted that you could get into law school without the LSAT. The friend in grad school was particularly insistent that if you had a graduate degree you could bypass the LSAT entirely. Is there any way this is true? From my own application experience I didn't think that this was possible, but I wanted to hear it from others as well. Thanks!

Some schools have programs that allow you to apply to their law school without an LSAT score if you went there for undergrad. E.g., Michigan's Wolverines Scholar program.

rutgers camden and i think northwestern have a special program for those who have taken the GMAT to apply by submitting that score in lieu of the LSAT, even if not applying for JD/MBA.

NU JD/MBA only requires the GMAT. However if you want to be considered for JD alone if your JD/MBA app is denied, you'd need an LSAT score.
