I was deferred to RD at CLS. They requested updated transcripts. Can I send them directly to Columbia or should I do it through LSDAS? Thanks!

I sent it in the body of an e-mail and then asked the Registrar to send it directly to Columbia.

I believe NYU requests that you do it through LSDAS. If the e-mail from Columbia doesn't specify which they prefer, I'd call Columbia and find out.

Updated transcripts must be sent to LSAC to be officially counted. I'm almost certain this is the route they want.

Not Columbia. They ask you to send the transcripts directly to them to speed the process (not in the e-mail, but this is what they will say if you ask them). NYU does want the transcripts sent via LSAC if you get the request.

OP, you would be wise to call Columbia and ask what they prefer.
