Top Law Schools

Vinny from the show "Jersey Shore" hopes to go to Yale or Harvard. He has a 3.9 GPA with Latin honors and did "decently" on his LSATs. Haha.

Honestly Vinny having a 3.9 does not surprise me, he was the most "normal" (not steroid head, not tan addicted, not gelled up) on the show. His LSAT was decent he said, so I' thinking probably he scored in the 160s, anything higher would put him into all T14s.

His "no body wants to be a lawyer" line is obviously false, which makes me think he is not on TLS, or he would have read how many people actually want to be lawyers.

Usually when I talk to people and they say they did "decent" on the LSAT they mean like a 150

edit: actually one time someone told me they did decent and they got a 148. sigh.

I agree with the above. I'm at decent private school. Decent for my friends is low to mid 150's, solid is upper 150's. Good is 160+, get the fuck out of here is 168+.

At my shitty High School, good is 155 decent is high is 140's-to low 150's, and 145 isn't killer.

TLS- 150's sigh, 160's-you're ok but don't go dreamin about the big bucks, 170- Are you URM, if not that's still good, but I hope you have a high GPA. 175+ with a decent GPA, now were talkin.

It's all relative.

+1 to above. tls conception of "decent" is a poor measure of what most people think it is.

The numbers for my school were very similar. The mean was 155.

My question is, how can you get a 3.9 but then not put in the time and effort to get a good LSAT score?

Of course, if he took it in September 09, then I have my answer...
