TLS community, please help. I'll keep it short.
Interview this Saturday with a school for some $$$
Email said "Business casual attire is appropriate."
I know some of the 40 people there will be donning suits. Should I play it safe and be appropriate or go for it on 4th and 2 and wear my nicest (and only) suit?

Describe the suit.
You could wear a suit with no tie and a non-white shirt and still be business casual.

If this is for IUB, you're meeting with 2 law grads, not adcomms, and it's just a 20 minute casual chat. A suit may be a stretch... but to each their own.

By the way, how do you know it's for $$$? I thought it was for borderliners as well.

Pondering it is picking nits. I'd do what they recommend and not give it a second thought. In the end, a suit may be nice and could be more impressive (or maybe seen as over-the-top), but it won't make any difference in the outcome.

I'm just assuming based on the email. It may be for borderliners as well. My glass is half full though. We're all getting full rides.
