Top Law Schools

Hello. I am a sophomore at Eastern Illionois University. My major is sports management and I have 2 minors 1 in business administration and 1 in pre law studies. My career goal is to become a sports agent. I want to act as an attorney as well as negotiator when speaking to professional teams. My dream is to attend either University of Chicago's Law school or Northwestern School of Law. I have a 3.8 gpa (which I hope to raise). I plan on taking my LSAT test in the summer of 2011. That will be right before I go into my senior year. I know there may be better law schools specifically for sports agents, but I think attending one of the best overall law schools in the country will be a better just in case becoming a sports agent doesn't work out. I want to have a good chance at landing a good job in a law firm. If anyone has any advice for me as far things I need to do, organizations I may want to join, anything that anybody can think of that would help me get into the law school of my choice or ANY ADVICE AT ALL, it will be greatly appreciated.

Pretty much the only way to become a sports agent is to have very strong connections to professional-level athletes (meaning most D1 athletes don't count). It's almost an impossible field to break into, probably on par with legal academics and "international law" and even if you were going to Harvard I think your chances would be small.

Edit: This is why sometimes coaches quit their jobs and latch onto their star athletes for dear life when it's clear that the athlete will go pro.

More like 171-172 for Chicago.

Northwestern is 172 without work experience, and 168 with work experience.
