Top Law Schools

Anybody with some transfer knowledge, I've decided I really want to go to UChicago. I plan to apply ED

Current school rank: 87 (http://top-law-schools.com/rankings.html)
First semester grades: Rank information not yet released, but I expect between top 7%-3%

I'm a Chicago native, and want to move back to be close to my family. I also want to be a law professor, and Chicago is the place to go for that. What are my chances? Do my LSAT/ugrad matter at UChicago?

Backup plan is Georgetown EA. I only plan to apply to UChicago and GULC, or else I'll just stay where I am.

I'd say you have a pretty damn near certain chance of getting accepted.

I go to Indiana - Indianapolis. Took a scholarship to go there. I like the school, I'm just concerned about portability of my degree. Plus, if I can transfer pretty high, why not?

I'm just worried UChicago might be shooting too high.

I have no idea what the odds od transferring are but what about adding Northwestern (also in Chicago and probably a little easier to get into than Chicago; better than GTown) to your list?

I'm just doing the early decision/action schools. I am married and my wife will need time to find a job.
