The F? LOR sent in December still not processed...

Post by SandyC877 » Sat Jan 23, 2010 10:21 pm

Not that it matters at this point as all my apps were turned in, but my LOR sent in late Dec is still yet to be processed. Either that recommender is lying through her teeth or LSAC is taking their sweetass time. =(

You should have the professor fax it to LSAC at 215-504-1444.

I had something similar happen. Unfortunately, my recommender dropped it off and immediately deployed, so neither of us has a way to track it. It cost me about a month for getting applications in.

I'm in the same situation--I had my recommender mail it in Dec; then mail it + fax it in the 2nd week of January. Still hasn't shown up. Thank goodness my other recommenders put theirs in early.

Honestly, I bet the writer simply didn't send it. I would politely ask for it to be "re-sent" because it hasn't shown up on your account due to what you're "sure is a problem at LSAC." This allows the writer to continue to say they sent it while alerting them that you will know when the letter actually arrives....
