I told myself I wouldn't, but I'm starting to get really worried.
My Harvard Status Checker says exactly this:
Thank you for applying to Harvard Law School. Once we receive your LSDAS report, we will notify you that either: (1) your application has been "completed" and submitted to the Committee on Admissions for review; or, (2) your application remains "incomplete," noting the missing materials. When all missing materials arrive, we will send notification of completion via email.
Current Status: Application Received
Current Status Date: 12/22/2009
Email - Application Acknowledgment 01/04/2010
So like it says, I applied on the 22nd, got an email on the 4th. Now it's been 2 weeks since the acknowledgment and nearly a month since I applied and it still says nothing about being complete. I haven't received any notifications beyond the Jan.4th email saying it's been received. However they definitely should have gotten the LSDAS report by now and should have sent a follow-up email about being complete or not.
From what I've seen so far, nobody has experienced this kind of delay between "received" and "complete" at Harvard... unless I'm forgetting something here.

Re: Harvard. Received ----> Complete Delay?
I'm in the exact same boat.
Submitted through LSAC on Dec 28.
got the received email on Jan 4.
Haven't received a complete notification either since then.
I'm sure that there are plenty of others in the same situation.
I'm not too worried about it though. Until recently there was very little movement from Harvard on Law School Numbers.

Same here. It's not just Harvard, though; seems like most schools requiring paper LSDAS reports have yet to reach completion on mid-December apps and thereafter. Also, some people have reported getting the JR1 e-mail before going complete at Harvard.Genki wrote:I'm in the exact same boat.

I'd love to see someone get the JR1 call before getting the complete email. "Oh, quick question before we start... my app is COMPLETE right?"
