I imagine this question has been asked and asked before so I apologize (I couldn't find any posts). I noticed a typo in my PS. I wrote "this experienced provided me..." as opposed to "this experience provided me..."

As you can see, it is a pretty obvious typo; there is no chance that it will go undetected. Should I send a corrected PS to the school or should I just let them find it?

Consensus seems to be that a small typo like this won't really hurt you, and doesn't merit sending an update.

Some may not even notice if they're reading quickly enough. These people read a lot of statements every day.

You know, as law school applicants we tend to magnify to ourselves what we perceive to be big flaws in our application. I am about 99.9% sure that adcomms are not going through your personal statement with a fine tooth comb, diagramming your sentences, or picking apart and analyzing your personal statement. If it really bothers you, you could send another one to them. I would suggest you at the very least not pull your hair out about it, because you will drive yourself crazy.

Thanks guys. I have a feeling I will be driving myself crazy for 2+ months but at least it won't be over this.

FWIW, I was accepted to a T1 with a personal statement full of typos like this. Four or five of them, actually.

I wouldn't worry about it, unless you are applying to HYS.
