Good Books

Post by sternc » Mon Jan 18, 2010 12:07 pm

I will be a 1L in the fall and am wondering if there are any good books for first year students. Has anyone read anything that accurately portrays what a typical first year experience is like, what to expect, etc? Any thoughts?

One L is a book written by a Harvard student about his first year experience. It was good, although I hear it is a little more than what most 1Ls have experienced.

This book was a great read for me. Makes a lot of things clearer and is entertaining. Just don't let it psych you out because he's not really the "typical" 1L.
